I'm planning to offer to mod a due South 30th Anniversary panel at whatever cons I attend in 2024 and at present my intended cons for 2024 are Escapade in California, Con*Strict in Nevada, CONfabulation in Illinois, and Bitchin' Party in Washington State.

Yeah, when I started making "fannish pilgrimages" to Canada I unrealistically thought that when Canadians saw how I've got dS tattoos on both arms from shoulder to wrist they would all immediately get the reference...but of course many either didn't or were surprised that I started on those tattoos about a dozen years after the show ended -- they just didn't get it about a show having a massively active fandom after the series ended.
